Chicago Lawyer Hank Palmer (Robert Downey Jr.) is well known and has a bright career. However, upon his mother’s death, he returns to the palace where he spent in his childhood; to his family which he had not seen for many years. He has to accept the hardest and most important case of his life after the events that took place here, as he needs to defend his father (Robert Duvall) who is a judge in the courtroom.
